It’s also known as Acup, Bargains and Ikena. When it finds a keyword match, it displays a targeted advertisement. The program may then contact its server in order to download and update these advertisements, as well as the software itself. Bargain Buddy can be installed by various adwares, including FavoriteMan, CommCenter, LimeWire, Net2Phone and vCatch. Removing Bargain Buddy Some versions of Bargain Buddy can be removed simply by going to Start, Control Panel and clicking on Add/Remove Programs. However, this option isn’t available on the newer Net2Phone. To remove Bargain Buddy from this version, take the following steps: * Exit Bargain Buddy at the tray bar. * Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to remove Bargain Buddy from the task manager. * Click Start – Control Panel – Add/Remove Programs and remove Bargain Buddy. * If Bargain Buddy can’t be found in Add/Remove Programs, look for the Uninstall option in your Program Files, which are accessible from the Start Menu.
