Installation Tutorial
This is available for free from Trend Micro
To start with you need to place this program where it will be used. I suggest
using a single folder on the desktop. Place ALL shortcuts like this here to
access them quickly and easily, and to reduce clutter on your desktop.
Click on the button to download this tool to your preferred location.
Next, double click on the CWShredder icon (v2.19 at the time of writing this)
you just moved to that folder to get the following screen:
Click on the I Agree button to accept the license and you will get the
following screen:
Click on the "Check For Update" button at the bottom, and you will get the
following screen, unless there is an update available.
If there is an update available, click the link it will give you to download
the update, and repeat the above steps to get to the following:
Now simply click on the Fix –> button to scan your system. You will see the
following screen:
*Click on OK to automatically close your Internet Explorer and Windows Media
player windows you may have open, or close them manually as this software
can’t run while they are open. 	*This scan may take a few minutes depending on
the size and speed of your system.
When done you will get the following screen:
Click on Next –> on the above screen to see what was done or found.
If you were clean you will see the next screen and all is well. Just click on
Exit to end the program.
If anything was found it will tell you what was found and what it did with the
findings. Nearly all the time it will automatically clean them for you, but
every so often it may find one it can’t shift. If this is the case, you will
need more specialised help, possibly involving a HijackThis scan. This is a very
specialised tool, and should not be used unsupervised, or you can seriously mess
your system up.
Daily Running Guide
This is quick and simple, to start
*Double click on the CWShredder icon
*Click on the "Check For Update" button at the bottom. 	*If there is an update
available download the update and repeat the above to get back to this point.
	*Next click on the Fix –> button to scan your system. 	*Click on OK to
automatically close your browser windows you may have open, or close your
browser windows manually as this software can’t run while they are open.
	*This scan may take a few minutes depending on the size and speed of your
system. 	*When finished click on Next to see what was donefound. 	*If you were
clean just click on Exit to end the program. 	*If required, refer to the 5 step
